ESI Equity remains active in industry forums and networks with many other professionals on ESOP related topics. We continue to support The ESOP Association, including being a member of the national Valuation Committee, national Fiduciary Committee, as well as Regional and Local Chapter Committees that work to educate and inform the community as a whole on various topics. We are also members of The National Center for Employee Ownership, The Ohio Ownership Center, and ESCA, all of which are advocates for the successful continuance of ESOPs and employee ownership. Each of these organizations host various conferences at a national, regional, and state level as well as provide online education materials.
ESI Equity maintains a strong network with premier organizations dedicated to both Business Valuation and ESOPs. Each of these organizations contributes to our extensive knowledge base and informs our approach to delivering comprehensive valuation and advisory services.
Business Valuation Related Organizations
- American Society of Appraisers (ASA): A global community of professional appraisers working in various valuation disciplines.
- American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA): The world’s largest member association representing the accounting profession, with standards for valuation services.
- National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts (NACVA): Supports the users of business and intangible asset valuation services and financial litigation services, including expert witness testimony.
- Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Institute: Global association of investment professionals that sets the standard for professional excellence and credentials.
ESOP Related Organizations
- The ESOP Association (TEA): Dedicated to education, The ESOP Association attracts more than 11,000 people annually to its 18 chapter and five national meetings.
- National Center for Employee Ownership (NCEO): An organization that provides practical resources and objective, reliable information about employee ownership to businesses.
- Employee-Owned S Corporations of America (ESCA): Represents the interests of employee-owned S corporations (“S ESOPs”) before Congress and the White House.
- Ohio Employee Ownership Center (OEOC): Provides outreach, information, and preliminary technical assistance to Ohio employees and business owners interested in exploring employee ownership.
